Cross-Border SOC Collaboration Workshop

Cross-Border SOC Collaboration Workshop - 22nd April, 2026 2

On 22 April 2026, the CHIEF Project Coordination Team attended the first official workshop jointly organised by the Athena Digital Europe Programme, ENSOC, and the Nordic-Baltic Cyber Consortium (NBCC).

The event brought together the three cross-border Security Operations Centres (SOCs) alongside other key actors to explore practical synergies, align strategic expectations, and establish a shared pathway for future collaboration.

The Coordination Team contributed to three sessions:

  • Cross-Cyber Hubs Interoperability Guidelines — sharing insights on how CHIEF is developing and implementing interoperability guidelines for cross-cyber hubs.
  • Advancing Interoperability: Standards for Cross-Border SOC Collaboration — a technical and operational discussion on interoperability principles, standards, and integration challenges across borders.
  • Vision, Interoperability and Future Collaboration Opportunities — a collaborative session to define shared priorities and identify partnership opportunities.

The workshop reinforced the strategic importance of coordinated SOC collaboration across Europe and laid the groundwork for ongoing cooperation between national and cross-border cybersecurity hubs.

The CHIEF consortium thanks the partner organisations involved: the Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale, the Bundesministerium für Inneres (BMI), the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity, the National Cybersecurity Authority of Greece (ΕΑΚ), The Lisbon Council, and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).
